Our History

Meet Scott, the heart and soul behind Scott’s Ivy Exxon. A lifelong car enthusiast, Scott’s passion for vehicles sparked in childhood, wrenching on his first car before he could even drive it. That early love grew into a decades-long career in automotive care across the Charlottesville area. Over the years, Scott has owned a wide range of vehicles—from classic American muscle cars to reliable everyday workhorses—and his deep knowledge of them fuels his dedication to quality service. He has owned and operated several respected service stations in the community, each one built on trust, hard work, and a genuine love for helping people stay safely on the road. Scott’s Ivy Exxon is the culmination of that journey—a local shop where passion meets experience.
